Paul L. Vaughn, MD, FACS

Dr. Paul Vaughn, a board certified vascular and endovascular surgeon, founded and established Desert Vascular Specialists in the East Valley in 2001.

After graduating from Arizona State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Microbiology, Dr. Vaughn attended the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. LA. He then completed his general surgery residency at Banner Good Samaritan Hospital in Phoenix, AZ followed by vascular and endovascular surgery fellowships at Louisiana State University and the Arizona Heart Hospital. Dr Vaughn served as medical director and panel physician at the award winning Chandler Wound healing Center from 2002-2012. During his tenure as medical director, he was named Medical Director of the year (2006) for the National Healing Corporation and has been named “Top Doc”, vascular surgery, by the Phoenix Magazine for the past several years.

In addition to traditional limb salvage revascularization techniques, Dr. Vaughn has extensive experience in many of the newer, less invasive, endovascular treatment modalities for both arterial and venous diseases. His other clinical interests include carotid artery interventions and aortic reconstruction for aneurysm and occlusive diseases.

Daniel F. Miller, DO, RPVI

 

Dr. Daniel Miller, a board certified vascular and endovascular surgeon, received his Bachelors of Science in Bioengineering at the University of Toledo. He received his Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Erie, Pennsylvania. Dr. Miller completed his surgical internship and residency at Mercy St. Vincent Medical Center in Toledo, Ohio. He then completed his Vascular Surgery Fellowship at Eastern Virginia Medical School in Norfolk, Virginia.

Dr. Miller is a Registered Physician in Vascular Interpretation by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.

His interests include minimally invasive approaches to limb salvage, venous pathology and carotid artery disease. Furthermore, he specializes in complex endograft repair of thoracic and abdominal aortic disease.
